A Bybit referral code such as BYBITDC identifies referral attribution; it does not by itself prove a fee discount or a cash reward. For an existing account, first check recorded attribution and whether the official affiliate-addition conditions apply, then compare My Fee Rate and actual fee history for the intended product. Do not create another identity or trade merely to test a code.

Affiliate disclosure: ByDITT is independent from Bybit. The BYBITDC link is an affiliate link, so ByDITT may receive compensation from eligible activity. Rewards, fee rates, registration availability, and campaign terms can vary by account and region. Confirm every benefit displayed by Bybit before depositing or trading.

Referral code, affiliate code, and campaign reward
| Term | What it means | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Referral or affiliate code | Connects an eligible account to a referrer or affiliate | A universal discount, cashback, or reward |
| Referral reward | A campaign benefit tied to tasks, dates, region, and eligibility | A payment available to every registrant |
| Affiliate commission | Compensation Bybit may pay to the referrer | A rebate automatically owed to the referred user |
| Trading-fee rate | The rate applied to the user’s account and product | The same rate for every country, VIP tier, or instrument |

Can a code be added after registration?
The official affiliate-code guide (updated 2026-06-05) describes a limited post-registration route: a main account with no registered affiliate or user referral code may request to join an affiliate community within 14 days of registration. The code must belong to the Affiliate Program, not another ordinary user’s Referral Program. Market-maker and institutional accounts are excluded, regional restrictions can apply, and an added code cannot be cancelled or changed.
There is an important scope conflict in the official material: the general registration guide (updated 2026-08-17) says codes must be entered before registration and cannot subsequently be added, modified or deleted, while the separate affiliate guide describes the conditional route above. The Referral Program FAQ also says a forgotten user-referral code does not retrospectively make that person your referee. Treat these as different program scopes, not a universal 14-day promise. If the account screen and help pages disagree, request official clarification for the exact account and code type before submitting anything.

- Use the official Bybit website or app and complete the required account checks.
- Open the registered affiliate-code page described in Bybit Help.
- Check whether a code already exists before entering a new one.
- Enter BYBITDC only if the account is eligible and you choose to use it.
- Save the confirmation screen and then verify the code status inside your account.
Do not create another identity, transfer KYC, or use another person’s account to bypass an existing referral relationship. If the account is not eligible, contact Bybit Support through the official site rather than following a workaround from an affiliate page.
How Bybit referral rewards work
Bybit’s Referral Program FAQ describes rewards tied to current referral campaigns. Campaigns can require registration during a specific period, identity verification, deposits, trading volume, or other tasks. Reward values, deadlines, and eligible regions can change.
- Read the campaign page while logged into the account that will complete the tasks.
- Check the registration and task window in UTC.
- Confirm which deposits, products, and volume count toward the task.
- Review exclusions for self-referrals, related accounts, market manipulation, or other abuse.
- Check the Reward Hub or referral history for a credited reward; a headline is not payment evidence.
- Save the terms that were active when the account joined.
A reward amount is not necessarily withdrawable cash
The official reward-type comparison (updated 2026-09-15) distinguishes airdrops, bonuses, fee savers and fee discounts. A bonus or fee saver may be non-withdrawable and limited to particular products or costs; a displayed amount is not automatically a cash balance. Claim deadlines and validity after claiming are separate checks. A trading-fee discount can change an applicable rate; a fee saver offsets eligible charges under its own conditions. Neither should be treated as an unconditional refund of every charge.

The Referral Program FAQ checked on 2026-10-20 distinguishes users registered before and on or after 2026-10-10 at 12:00 UTC. Its task clocks and eligible activity differ by cohort. Save the applicable terms and the registration timestamp with its time zone; do not apply a historical screenshot or one task’s clock to a different task. Later affiliate addition does not itself establish retroactive campaign eligibility. This guide does not reproduce headline rewards or encourage deposits or trading to pursue them.
Referral code and trading fees are separate checks
Bybit’s Trading Fee Structure lists base fees and VIP tiers but also states that actual rates can vary by region. Check My Fee Rate or the fee shown for the specific order. Do not infer a permanent percentage from a referral-code headline.
| Evidence | Reliability |
|---|---|
| Rate shown in My Fee Rate | Account-specific reference |
| Fee recorded in order history | Evidence of the executed charge |
| Benefit shown in registration flow | Evidence of the offer presented at registration, subject to terms |
| Affiliate article or screenshot | Not enough without matching account and campaign evidence |

A reproducible fee comparison without assuming a code benefit
Use records you already have. This independent example assumes a single 10,000 USDT executed notional with both fees measured in USDT. Reference rate A is 0.060% and comparison rate B is 0.045%. These deliberately illustrative rates are not the current base rate, a quote from a real account or a BYBITDC offer. The comparison measures a difference, not the reason for it.

| Measure | Method | Illustrative result |
|---|---|---|
| Reference fee | 10,000 × 0.060 ÷ 100 | 6.00 USDT |
| Comparison fee | 10,000 × 0.045 ÷ 100 | 4.50 USDT |
| Absolute fee difference | 6.00 − 4.50 | 1.50 USDT |
| Relative difference | (6.00 − 4.50) ÷ 6.00 × 100 | 25% |
| Rate difference | 0.060% − 0.045% | 0.015 percentage points |
Do not subtract 25 percentage points from a fee rate or describe a 0.015-percentage-point change as a 0.015% relative discount. If the reference fee is zero, a relative saving is undefined. This example excludes funding, borrowing interest, spread, slippage, payment charges, withdrawals, taxes and rounding; it is not a total-cost estimate or a reason to place a trade.
For a real comparison, match the same product, contract or pair, maker/taker classification, order-placement time, account and VIP state. A limit order that fills immediately can take liquidity; compare actual fills rather than assuming that every limit order is maker. Record the fee asset: a fee deducted in a received coin cannot be compared directly with USDT without a documented conversion basis. Multiple fills may have separate fees.
Check separate explanations before attributing a lower charge to a code. The fee-structure page directs verified users to My Fee Rate because regional rates can differ. The reward-type guide says its fee-discount reward applies after activation and does not retroactively reprice pending orders. The MNT fee-payment FAQ describes separate product/account settings, eligibility and sufficient transferable MNT in the UTA. MNT payment is not evidence of a referral benefit, and this guide makes no claim that different discounts stack.
Opening the public My Fee Rate gateway while logged out can lead to a generic fee schedule; that is not your personal rate. Use your own verified account view for the intended product, retain the relevant timestamp and compare existing Trade History or Transaction Log records. No live trade or deposit is needed merely to inspect a code.
Claims that require extra evidence
- “Official maximum” or “lifetime” fee discount
- Guaranteed bonus or cashback amount
- Faster KYC, priority withdrawal, or support queue
- Automatic VIP acceleration or airdrop priority
- Better execution, lower slippage, or data optimization
- A referrer commission described as if it were paid to the trader
These claims should be removed unless the exact account-level or campaign terms prove them. A code cannot change market liquidity, identity-review decisions, withdrawal security controls, or the execution quality available to the same account and order.
Before using BYBITDC
- Confirm Bybit is available for your country and intended product.
- Read the code and any displayed benefit before submitting registration.
- Check the current referral campaign separately from the affiliate code.
- Use a unique password, 2FA, anti-phishing code, and withdrawal controls.
- If a transfer is later needed for an independent purpose, verify the network, destination and fees separately; a referral code validates none of them.
- Check your actual fee rate before the first trade.
Frequently asked questions
Does BYBITDC guarantee a bonus?
No. A reward depends on the campaign shown to the account, task completion, dates, region, and eligibility review.
Can I replace another code with BYBITDC?
Bybit’s current help page says a code cannot be switched once added. Check the official page and contact Bybit Support for account-specific questions.
Does the code change my VIP level?
Do not assume so. VIP qualification and fees are controlled by Bybit’s current account and program rules, not by an affiliate article.
Check eligibility and the recorded code
- Use Account Info and Join an Affiliate’s Community when available. A main account must meet the 14-day rule and have no existing referral or affiliate code.
- Institutional accounts, market makers and restricted regions can be excluded. If the entry is unavailable, check the official rules and support rather than creating another identity.
- A recorded code cannot be changed. A hidden affiliate ID is not proof of no code, and registration alone does not prove a discount, cashback or campaign reward.
Missing-code and missing-discount diagnostic table
| Observed state | What it does not establish | Next safe check |
|---|---|---|
| A code or affiliate community is recorded | It does not prove a discount or a reward | Preserve the relationship; inspect the specific rate and campaign independently. |
| The affiliate identity is hidden | Privacy settings do not prove there is no relationship | Review the official privacy explanation and original registration source; ask support if unclear. |
| No entry for joining an affiliate community | It is not a technical reason to create another identity | Check account type, existing attribution, age of account and regional eligibility against the dedicated guide. |
| A user-referral code was omitted | The affiliate-addition route does not retroactively repair ordinary referral attribution | Read the Referral Program FAQ; do not promise backdated rewards. |
| The code appears but the charge is unchanged | The code is not necessarily broken | Match maker/taker, VIP, product, fee asset, order time and reward activation; compare the actual account rate. |
| A reward is visible but cannot be withdrawn | A voucher is not necessarily cash | Inspect reward type, product restrictions, claim deadline and use expiry. |
What to include in an official support request
State the program being checked, account type, registration date and time zone, whether a relationship is already recorded, the missing menu or exact error, and the official guide consulted. For a fee question, add the product, maker/taker side, fee asset, order-placement time and the relevant existing fill or transaction reference. Ask whether the issue is attribution, rate eligibility, fee payment or reward eligibility; combining all four into “my code failed” makes the evidence ambiguous.
Redact balances, full identity numbers and unnecessary personal information in public screenshots. Supply account identifiers only through an authenticated official support channel when requested. Never send passwords, recovery phrases, one-time codes or remote-control access to an affiliate or someone claiming to fix a discount. Do not create another account, transfer KYC or transact to force a campaign result.
